A Perfect Career (“we,” “us”) operates the directory at aperfectcareer.com. This page explains what we collect and why. We keep it short because we collect little.
What we collect
- Information you give us. If you join the counselor waitlist or contact us, we store what you submit — your email, and optionally your name, phone, website, role, and any note.
- Payment information.If you purchase a featured listing, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — we keep a record of the transaction (amount, plan, and Stripe's identifiers) to manage your listing.
- Usage data.We record anonymized analytics about page visits and which outbound links (a counselor's website, booking page, email, or phone) get clicked, along with the referring page. We use this to understand what's useful, not to identify you.
How we use it
To run the directory: respond to you, manage waitlist and featured listings, prevent abuse, and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help us operate, each handling data on our behalf:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — sending email
- Supabase — database hosting
- Vercel — site hosting and analytics
We may also disclose information if required by law.
